Term Details:
This competition will be used to staff one vacant locally-engaged staff (LES) positions. This position is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Employment for LES in Israel. This staffing process will also serve to build an eligibility list at the LE-A2 level to be used for indeterminate, term, or temporary appointments at this level.

Summary of position:
Summary of Duties:

Reporting directly to the Management Consular Officer (MCO), this position provides a range of administrative functions in support of the Common Services Program, including: administering financial transactions and supporting budget management; logistical and event-management support; managing client relations and service delivery, including through contracting and procurement; fostering a network of stakeholders within governmental, non-governmental and private sectors; information management and record keeping; and performing other duties as required.

Essential qualifications:

Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education and experience. All applicants must submit a résumé/CV and a cover letter by the closing date. The cover letter must specify, using concrete examples, how the applicant meets the education, language and experience requirements listed below. Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university; OR a 2-year technical
course in administration, business, accounting, information management;
OR an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience:
• At least one (1) year of recent (within the past five (5) years) relevant work experience in an office environment in the following areas:
o general administrative duties including budget management
o providing in-person or online client service

Language:
• Fluency in English (spoken, written, comprehension)
• Fluency in Hebrew (spoken, written, comprehension)

Rated Requirements:

The Rated Requirements relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies will be assessed. Methods of assessment may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview, role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment.

Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications in their cover letter and curriculum vitae (CV).

• Knowledge of SAP or other enterprise financial software
• Proficiency in French (spoken, written, comprehensive)

• Basic hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
• Able and willing to work overtime as required (on week days and/or during
weekends);
